What We Do

Roofing. That's the whole list, and that's the point.

We don't split our crews across siding, gutters-only jobs, and pressure washing. Replacement, repair, and storm restoration for North Georgia homes, with the scope and materials named in your proposal before any work starts.

Gutters, fascia, soffit, and custom chimney flashing are handled in-house as part of the roof system, because drainage and ventilation decide how long the roof above them lasts.

Financing

Pay over time, not all at once.

Most people do not plan for a roof. We have partnered with Wisetack so the decision is about what your home needs, not about what is in your account this month.

0% APR available up to 24 months for eligible customers

  • Up to $65,000

Wisetack finances projects up to $65,000, which covers a complete replacement on essentially any home in our service area.

  • Terms from 3 to 120 months

APRs run from 0 to 35.9% depending on the amount and your credit. No hidden fees and no compounding interest.

  • Checking does not affect your credit

Prequalifying takes about a minute and runs a soft check, so you can see your real terms before deciding anything.

Ask about financing

All financing is subject to credit approval. Your terms may vary. Payment options through Wisetack are provided by our lending partners. For example, a $5,500 purchase could cost $253.54 per month for 24 months, based on a 9.9% APR, or $1,833.33 per month for 3 months, based on a 0% APR. Offers range from 0 to 35.9% APR based on amount requested and creditworthiness. Not all merchants and lending partners participate in 0% interest programs. Terms range from 3 - 120 months and may vary based on merchant, lending partner, or transaction size. State interest rate caps may apply. No prepaid finance charges or participation fees. See additional terms at wisetack.com/faqs.

On The Job

Why Virtue Roofing

What you actually get when you hire us

Most homeowners only buy a new roof once or twice in their life. The decision is high-stakes and high-cost, and a lot of contractors take advantage of that.

Here's how we don't. Six things that show up on every proposal, every install, every walk-through.

Honest Recommendations First

If a $600 repair solves it, we won't sell you a $16,000 replacement. Clear recommendations and roofing solutions that serve the homeowner. That's the integrity half of 'Built on Integrity.'

Transparent, Written Pricing

Scope, materials, and price in a written proposal before any work starts. Your final invoice matches it unless you sign off on a change. No surprise line items after the tear-off.

Local Crew, 35+ Years Combined

Locally owned and operated in Gainesville. North Georgia is our only market, and our team has spent decades on its roofs, so we know exactly how this climate kills a bad install.

Insurance-Claim Guidance

After a storm, we inspect, photograph, and document the damage the way carriers expect, then guide you through the claim so the approved scope matches what your roof actually needs.

Manufacturer-Certified, Warranties in Writing

A GAF Certified™ Contractor and a CertainTeed ShingleMaster™ credentialed company, installing both systems to manufacturer spec so the warranty holds. Every install also carries our own 10, 25 or 50-year workmanship warranty, named in your proposal.

A Walkthrough Ends Every Job

Daily site cleanup with magnetic nail sweeps, and a final inspection walkthrough where we show you the finished work. The project closes when you've seen it done right, not when the truck pulls away.

Three systems. Every component named.

All three carry the same CertainTeed limited lifetime manufacturer warranty on the shingles. What changes is the component specification and how long we stand behind the installation.

  • The same home mid tear-off, photographed from above with the roof stripped to bare decking, ice-and-water membrane laid into the valleys, a crew member in a high-visibility vest on the ridge, and tarps covering the pool, patio and planting beds below.
Mid tear-off, down to the deck so it can be inspected. Pool, patio and beds tarped before a single shingle came off.
The finished roof on the same home from above: new driftwood-brown architectural shingles, continuous ridge vent along every ridge line, and new black pipe boot flashing at each penetration.
The same roof finished. Continuous ridge vent along the ridges and a new boot at every penetration.
  • Aerial view of a completed charcoal architectural shingle roof on a large multi-hip home, with even colour across every slope, clean ridge and hip lines, and new vents and pipe boots, a swimming pool and patio beyond.
Completed replacement on a cut-up hip roof. Even coverage across every slope and a new boot at each penetration.
  • Aerial view of a roof stripped past the shingles to structure, with sections of decking removed entirely and the rafters and insulation open to the sky while fresh sheathing is laid.
Rotten decking does not show itself until the roof is open. Here it came off to the rafters and went back as new sheathing.
  • Completed weathered-grey architectural shingle roof on a home surrounded by mature trees, photographed from above, with clean hip and ridge lines and new pipe boot flashing.
Finished replacement on a heavily wooded lot, where overhang and shade are hard on a roof.
  • Brick chimney with a new dark metal chimney crown and cap fitted on top, fresh counterflashing sealed where the brickwork meets the shingles, and a neighbouring roofline behind.
New chimney crown and cap, with counterflashing let into the brick rather than smeared over it.
  • Sided chimney chase with a newly fitted black metal chase cover and round cap on top, photographed from the roof with the adjoining roof slope and a flowering crepe myrtle behind.
Replacement chase cover and cap. A rusted-through cover drops water straight down the inside of the chase.
  • Aerial view of a home mid tear-off: roof decking exposed across every slope, a loaded dump trailer and materials staged in the driveway, and crew working the ridge.
Mid tear-off. Decking exposed and inspected before anything new went down.
The same home from above once finished: new architectural shingles on every slope, clean ridge lines, and the yard cleared.
The same roof finished, and the yard cleared.
  • Aerial view of a completed charcoal architectural shingle roof on a large hip-roofed home, showing clean ridge lines, valleys, new pipe boot flashing and a capped chimney.
Completed architectural shingle system, ridge, valleys and new pipe boots.
  • Completed charcoal shingle roof on a ranch home viewed from above, with new pipe boot flashing, chimney flashing and clean hip ridges.
Ranch replacement with new flashing at every penetration.
  • Newly installed black seamless gutters and downspout running along the roofline and corner of a white ranch home, with new shingle roof and drip edge visible above.
Seamless gutter and downspout, hung on sound fascia and draining clear of the foundation.

How a Project Actually Goes

Four steps. No surprises.

From the first phone call to the final walk-through, here's exactly what happens and what you're responsible for at each step.

01

Consultation & Roof Inspection

We come to you and get on the roof. Decking, flashings, ventilation, and every problem spot gets inspected and photographed, so the scope is based on what's actually up there, not a guess from the driveway.

02

Written Proposal

You get a clear written proposal that names the materials and the full scope of work. Honest recommendations too: if a repair solves it, we'll say so instead of quoting a replacement you don't need.

03

Professional Installation

A start date in writing, a crew that shows up on it, and an install done to spec, tear-off to ridge cap. Tarps protect your landscaping, and a magnetic nail sweep runs over the property every day.

04

Final Inspection Walkthrough

When the work is done, we walk it with you. You see the finished roof, the cleanup, and exactly what was installed before we call the project complete. Questions get answered on the spot.

Common questions

  • Do you offer financing for a new roof?

Yes. We finance through Wisetack, our lending partner. Checking your options takes about a minute and does not affect your credit score. Rates and terms depend on the amount and your credit, and all financing is subject to credit approval. You can see the published rates and check your own options on our pricing page.

  • How much does a new roof cost?

Our installed rates run $400 to $600 per roofing square, or $4.00 to $6.00 per square foot of roof, depending on which warranty option you choose. On a typical 2,500 sq ft roof that works out to roughly $10,000 to $15,000 installed. Every one of those prices includes complete tear-off, disposal and cleanup. Decking replacement, if the deck turns out to be bad, is priced per sheet in your written proposal. The inspection and the written quote are free.

  • Do you charge for an inspection or an estimate?

No. Inspections and written estimates are free, with no obligation. If we find nothing wrong, we tell you that, and you still get the report.

  • What warranty comes with the roof?

Two layers. CertainTeed's limited lifetime manufacturer warranty on the shingles, which we register on your behalf, plus our own workmanship warranty covering the installation, offered in 10, 25 and 50-year tiers depending on the system. Both are named in your written proposal before work starts, so you can see exactly what each one covers.

  • Where do you work?

Hall, Forsyth, Gwinnett, Barrow, Dawson and DeKalb counties, from Gainesville and Cumming through Buford and Lawrenceville down into Decatur, Brookhaven and Tucker. We run crews across North Georgia and into metro Atlanta.

  • Will you help with an insurance claim after a storm?

Yes. We inspect at no charge, photograph and locate every area of damage, meet your adjuster at the property, and review the carrier's scope with you line by line. We do not file the claim for you. That is your relationship with your insurer, and we will never offer to waive or absorb your deductible.
